News & Upcoming Due Dates

Convocation / Dry Grad Itinerary
5:30PM - Grads arrive at Northview Community Church
6:00PM - Group photo
6:30PM - Doors open for guests / Grads to marshalling room
7:00PM - Ceremony begins
9:00PM - Reception with light refreshments (Gowns MUST be returned)
10:15PM - Grads board buses for Dry Grad at the MRC
4:30AM - Grads board buses to return to ATSS for pancake breakfast
6:00AM - Grads are picked up at ATSS to return home

Notes:

If students wish to change clothes for Dry Grad they must bring their change of clothes with them to convocation as students leave directly from the church to the MRC
If students are driving themselves to Convocation and are attending Dry Grad they must make arrangements for somebody else to take their car home as all students must ride the bus to the MRC
Dry Grad is a "lock-in" , which means that students who choose to attend are expected to remain at the event until it is over.

Convocation Ticket Distribution
Convocation tickets were handed out to students in homeroom on Wednesday, May 26 (six per student). Students have the opportunity to ask their fellow students during homeroom for extra tickets as some families will not need all six tickets. Tickets are not for sale.

Convocation DVD Order - June 2
If you would like to order a DVD of this year's Convocation Ceremony please complete the attached order form and bring it to Mrs. Faber with money ($5 cash or cheque payable to ATSS) on or before Wednesday, June 2.

Convocation Rehearsal - June 1 (3PM - 4PM)
All grade 12 students participating in convocation must be in attendance at the mandatory convocation rehearsal at Northview Community Church on Tuesday, June 1. Please arrange for your own ride to the church, and arrive promptly at 3:00PM.

Door Prizes Needed for Dry-Grad
Mrs. Roberts is looking for the assistance of fellow grad parents in collecting some door prizes for this year's Dry Grad event, happening on Friday, June 4th. If you are interested in assisting with this effort, please read this letter and contact Mrs. Roberts for more information. Thanks to our parent volunteers who are already working hard, arranging an exciting Dry Grad for this year's grade 12's!
